PT Agis Tbk (IDX code: TMPI) was founded more than 30 years ago as the exclusive manufacturer and distributor of Sony products in Indonesia. In 1994, it co-founded Indonesia’s first pay-TV service (Indovision). It went public via backdoor-listing in 1996 through listed company PT Telaga Mas Pertiwi Indonesia (TMPI), an export-oriented shoe manufacturer whose operations have since been discontinued.

Today, Agis is a fully integrated consumer electronics company with over 300 employees. It not only continues to represent Sony in Indonesia but other brands as well, with whom it is actively involved from product planning, to brand management, to product servicing. Its consumer electronics distribution network spans more than 1000 independent retail shops all over Indonesia. Its owned retail chain covers more than 4,000 sqm of display space in five major malls in three cities and is the only retail chain that offers its own product warranty, nationwide delivery service, and product insurance. Its after-sale service network spans more than 25 service centers throughout the archipelago.
